During a busy lunch rush this week Sushiswap (SUSHI) was temporarily shut down by the health department. Docked for messy prep stations, cleaning products stored next to food products and lack of hand washing stations throughout the kitchen, the very busy swap received notice they had 48 hours to comply or receive further suspensions.
“48 hours?!” exclaimed the manager on duty that day. “We will lose millions in revenue. That is absolutely unacceptable. We need to be up and running NOW.”
The inspector who brought the allegations and was frankly just doing their job, softened up and said they could be moved to wave these infractions, if the swap was willing to “clean up real quick” and pay them a bribe of 1 ETH. “Done!” exclaimed the manager and SUSHI was back up and running in time for dinner that night. Phew. Crisis averted.
